When we first started Target Fuels and Machinery, I can remember visiting prospective customers and really having to sell the importance of AdBlue.

Fortunately, over time, the importance is now nice and clear and more and more people are aware of the product. For the foreseeable future, this need is only going to grow.

All new diesel engines have a need for it. So as older models are being replaced by our existing customers, the newer models is going to mean an increase in AdBlue orders. New companies and customers will also obviously need to source it as well, so Target Fuels do not need to look at other industries for supply.

That being said, we maintain a close relationship with our customers and if they tell us of another avenue we should be exploring, we will most certainly do so.

Why is Adblue so important?

AdBlue is used in diesel engines that utilise SCR technology to convert harmful emission into harmless nitrogen and steam water and can reduce diesel fuel consumption of SCR equipped vehicles by up to 5%. It is safe, non-hazardous, non-harmful, and non-flammable.

If I have one piece of advice for yard managers…

It would be to encourage them to be more vigilant when it comes to their decreasing AdBlue supplies. Target Fuels prides itself on its turnaround times and can even deliver AdBlue on the same day as it is ordered, in an emergency. But ideally we would prefer yard managers to notice they are running out of AdBlue and contact us – before actually noticing they have run out of AdBlue already!
