As the restrictions on lockdown start to slightly ease and the country attempts to get the economy back on track, we are all facing up to a new way of working and living.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact across all sectors and industries and even the physical nature of how we work has changed dramatically. As society faces up to the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 crisis, it has never been more essential to keep the country working and moving.

At Target Fuels and Machinery, we have been fortunate to have been able to carry on working – while always adhering to Government guidelines.

As mentioned in last month’s blog, we had to implement very few changes as to how we run our business. Safeguarding our staff was always paramount while our deliveries were made without asking for any signatures. From a customer’s point of view, everyone appreciated that we were still operating during these difficult times.

We also hope the pandemic – and our response to life in the next few months and even years – might change society for the better. Starting with respecting each other and our business, especially during these difficult times.

It has been disappointing to read on social media that many lorry drivers have been treated poorly when it comes to not being allowed to use toilet facilities – with many citing fears over the spread of coronavirus.

Surely now, more than ever, we should be supporting each other. That is certainly the ethos of Target Fuels and Machinery.

It will be interesting to see how the Government’s announcements over the last few days, designed at kick-starting the economy back into life, will impact on our industry.

No matter what, and respecting all national guidelines, Target Fuels will be ready to support any customers – existing or new – to solve all your AdBlue needs.
